There are three tram routes from St Kilda to the city centre - tram 96 recently listed as one the ten best tram routes in the world - from Fitzroy Street, onto the light rail into Spencer street, it turns right into Bourke Street. Number 16 tram goes east up Fitzroy Street and along St Kilda Road to Melbourne city centre, through the city along Swanston Street. Tram 112 runs along Park Street, 200 metres from us - it goes through Middle Park, then along Spencer Street and turns into Collins Street. There are three separate tram routes plus a bus service from Fitzroy Street to Chadstone. |
