Opening Date on 28 May 2001 with the number of rooms 246 in operation, Alila Jakarta is a hotel for people who enjoy life wherever they are in the world. All rooms are designed in modern architecture that worships simplicity and convenience in an elegant setting. 74 executive and 152 deluxe rooms at 30 sqm each, enhancing comfort, convenience and luxury, overlooking the Presidential Palace, government ministries and historical landmarks in Jakarta.

All public area and all rooms as well are equipped with free high speed internet access.

Getting There	From Soekarno Hatta Airport- Blue bird cabs will cost in the region of US$ 11,- and will take around 30-45 minutes, or the Gambir train direct to hotel takes 15 minutes and costs US$ 5,- each way. Things To Do	The hotel is ideally situated near the Monument National, National Museum, Fatahillah Museum and Presidential Palace. For shopping, Mangga Dua, Pasar Baru and Surabaya shop has a wide variety of well-known chain stores as well as numerous antique shops, and the Famous Plaza Indonesia Department Store is only a 15 minute bus ride in neighbouring Knightsbridge.
