Adventure along Mt Iron walking track, which takes you to the top of Mt Iron, an impressive, glacier carved, rocky knoll that rises nearly 250 metres above the surrounding countryside. From the summit there are excellent 360-degree views of the Pisa range, Upper Clutha Basin, Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps/K257; Tiritiri o te Moana.
There are ample facilities, including fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, large bedrooms, full laundry and generous bathrooms (includes a spa), all linens and towels supplied, secure car and boat parking, SKYTV, DVD and more.

Arrival instructions Please collect the keys from Alpine Resort Wanaka at 150 Anderson Road, Wanaka. Checkin time is from 2pm to 5 pm. For late arrivals please contact us by phone or e-mail and we will arrange for late entry to your accommodation.
Departure 1000hrs
Getting there Alpine Resort Wanaka is located just 1.5km from Wanaka's town centre. You will receive your driving instructions to Mt Iron House at the Alpine resort.

From Lake Hawea, Cromwell or Tarras (Highway 84):

As you enter Wanaka from Lake Hawea, Cromwell or Tarras (Highway 84) you will see Puzzleworld on your left, exactly 1km from there on your right is Anderson Road.

From Queenstown via Cardrona and the Crown Range (Highway 89):

When approaching from Queenstown via Cardrona and the Crown Range (Highway 89) turn right when you reach the lakefront and travel through Wanaka and on up the hill, Anderson Road is on your left opposite the golf course. You will find us at the end of Anderson Road on the left hand side at the corner of Aubrey Road.
