The Glass House has a bright, fresh feel with all living and dining areas providing an open plan, the house offers floor to ceiling glass and a view of the private courtyard with a landscaped path along the side of the house. The property itself has been exquisitely furnished with stylish, modern decor.

On the ground floor you'll find a dining table for six and enough kitchen space and facilities to cook up a storm. With a luxurious lounge suite to relax, wide screen plasma TV/DVD with Foxtel (cable TV) and the best reverse cycle air-conditioning system on the market, you'll find it easy to make The Glass House your home.

Wireless internet, free local phone calls and the use of a separate laundry with washing machine and dryer are all included in the accommodation. The outdoor living space is fabulous with a great dining setting for six. The house has a luxurious bath for relaxing as well as a shower over the bath, toilet and vanity. There's also a spacious shower in the ensuite upstairs with a toilet and vanity. There are two bedrooms downstairs as well; one with two single beds and a desk, the other with a queen bed with plenty of hanging and storage space.

Upstairs you will find the master bedroom with a queen bed, your own TV and individually controlled reverse cycle air conditioning/heating unit. You will have plenty of storage via walk through robes, which leads through to the ensuite and the spacious private balcony.

The Glass House is conveniently located 2km south of the city, near Albert Park Lake and surrounding sporting facilities such as the Melbourne Sporting and Aquatic Centre and the Australian Grand Prix Track. The foreshore of Albert Park is also approx 2km away making The Glass House an ideal location between the city and the beach. An easy five minute walk to Clarendon Street offers you many options for a cup of coffee and good shopping facilities. The South Melbourne markets are a must do on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday.

This spacious, self contained house is well suited to accommodate three couples or a family requiring short stay holiday accommodation for their next visit to Melbourne. It is also ideal relocation accommodation for those relocating to Melbourne. It is great for executive or corporate business travel accommodation being so close to the Melbourne CBD.

The Glass House is close to trams that can take you to the CBD, the casino, Southbank, Albert Park, St Kilda, South Melbourne Beach and even through to Lygon and Brunswick Streets on the other side of the city.

Bond details A valid credit card is required as security for all bookings. Furthermore, a security bond of $500 may also be requested by the Property Manager.
Payment details A total deposit of 50% of our fee is required to confirm your booking if you book more than 3 weeks prior to your arrival. The first 10% the payment is paid to WOTIF, the other 40% to Boutique Stays. If you book less than 3 weeks prior to your arrival, the total fee (i.e. 100%) must be paid to confirm your booking. The first 10% of the payment is paid to WOTIF, the other 90% to Boutique Stays. The balance of payment will be charged to the same credit card that was used to pay the deposit (unless we are informed otherwise), 10 days prior to your arrival.
Business facilities Complimentary wireless broadband and local phone calls are avaliable. Included is a study area with desk in 2nd bedroom and a large dining table with seating for six people, suitable for meetings

Public transport: Take the Skybus to Southern Cross Station. From Southern Cross Station walk to the tram stop 1 - Spencer St/Collins St. Take the tram 96 towards St Kilda. Get off at stop 126 - Clarendon St/City Rd. Walk to bus stop Clarendon St/City Rd. Take the route 250/251 bus towards Garden City. Get off at stop Pickles St/Crockford St. Walk about 390 m to Dorcas St.

Taxi/Car: Take the Tullamarine freeway/Citylink towards Melbourne. Take exit LORIMER St-WEST GATE FREEWAY for National Route Alt 1 towards M1/Docklands/Kings Way/City/S.E.Suburbs. Take exit Lorimer Street towards Docklands. Slight right onto Lorimer St. Turn right onto Wurundjeri Way. Continue onto Docklands Hwy/State Route 20/State Route 30/State Route 55. Continue to follow State Route 20/?State Route 30. Continue onto York St. Turn right onto Ferrars St. Turn right onto Dorcas St.
