If waves aren't your thing the Gold Coast has some of the most beautiful still water options in Australia in our stunning Broadwater and inland rock pools. Adrenalin junkies will get their kicks at Gold Coast Theme Parks Dreamworld, Adventure Parc, Seaworld, Movie World, White Water World and Wet 'n' Wild. Or try Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, David Fleay Wildlife Park and Australian Outback Spectacular for a more subdued day or evening’s entertainment. 30 minutes beyond the bustling coastal strip lies the Gold Coast Hinterland where the city gives way to farmland, vineyards, quaint villages, sprawling National Parks and rainforest reserves. Try Tamborine Mountain Rainforest Walk or Tree Tops Walk at O'Reillys, Springbrook National Park walk under the waterfall or swim in the pools. Each year thousands of Humpback whales pass the Gold Coast between June and the end of October.
