This unique and welcoming multi-unit building has the feel of an artist’s studio with Western touches. As you pull into the dedicated paved parking lot, you’ll immediately notice the “sunburst” artwork on the building’s exterior and the colorful, decorative tile steps leading to your door. A covered porch spans the front of the building with benches for enjoying your coffee in the fresh morning air. You’ll be humbled by the awesome mountain views – and they’re right in front of you!

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable, multi-purpose space decorated in “Rocky Mountain chic,” with contemporary furnishings and rustic touches.

A queen-size bed offers a restorative night’s sleep against the backdrop of a weathered wood “barn door” style headboard and a variegated plank accent wall. Wood ceiling beams and textured white walls add to the mountain cabin feel. A closet provides storage for clothing and other gear.

After an energetic day, put your feet up and enjoy the wall-mounted TV, which can be viewed from both the bed and the two-seater leather sofa with coffee table.

The Neighborhood:
This delightful rental is located in the National Historic District of Old Colorado City, a neighborhood on the west side of Colorado Springs. Established in 1859, this desirable area juxtaposes quaint older homes on tree-lined streets with a lively commercial district offering award-winning dining and art galleries, over 100 boutiques and one-of-a-kind-shops, festivals and special events. You’ll find similar offerings, but with a more contemporary vibe, in Downtown Colorado Springs, just 7 minutes away by car. In the opposite direction, just 3 minutes away, you’ll appreciate the charm of Manitou Springs, an artsy, walkable little town.

The location of this property is simply outstanding, putting you within easy reach of everything you’ll want to see and do in the region, such as visiting the popular Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, where awe-inspiring rock formations tower overhead at 300 feet – just a 2-minute drive! The Garden of the Gods allows dogs on-leash, and also provides a wide-open off-leash area.

Hiking enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Red Rock Canyon Open Space (2 minutes), Bear Creek Regional Park East (6 minutes), Cheyenne Caňon Park
(13 minutes), and Pike’s Peak -- also known as “America’s Mountain” -- reaching over 14,000 feet into the clouds (15 minutes).

Getting Around:
We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

Other Things to Note:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
-There is a shared Laundry Room & Office Space at the East end of the building. Access Code for the Lock box: 0166 ***Please return the key to the Lockbox after you open the door***
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
-The bathroom only offers the shower. The bathtub convertor is disabled.
-This is shared with a multi unit property with other vacation rentals and small businesses.
-Parking is limited to one spot per unit. There is limited overflow parking in the back so we don't recommend more than 2 vehicles per unit.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!

🐶Dog Policy:
-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.

Locations of all Security Cameras:
1. Ring Doorbell Cameras on the corner of the building facing all the front doors.
2. Ring Doorbell Camera on the back corner of the property facing the walk way.
It is on and operating.

This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited

Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:

- NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop.
- We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
- Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.
- We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early.

Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver:
- Instead of charging a security deposit, we charge a non-refundable damage waiver fee (See Rental Agreement for a detailed breakdown of our guest fees) that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they may be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.

Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL.

Was locked out of the room after a 16-hour road trip. Called management, and they remotely unlocked the room. Missed a wedding dinner for a friend due to this issue. Was told someone was going to come, waited an hour called back had to send a video showing me using the keypad. The issue was not resolved. The next day host asked if maintenance could look at the door, had to wait around till he showed up, and messed with the door. Issue not resolved. We left room as we had stuff to do, and returned to being locked out for an hour in the rain waiting for maintenance to come. Maintenance had to unlock the door with his phone. My husband bought a lock at Walmart and had to put it on the door so we could come and go without being locked out.

The property was clean and convenient. Easy check in and check out. Walls are a bit thin and you hear traffic a little too much through the night and other tenants around you. Definitely not as peaceful as we hoped for but all around served the purpose for us.

Quick little trip to the springs
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights. Overall the place was clean and accurate to the description. However the walls are paper thin and we could hear people next door and a lot of street noise. The property manager was friendly and quick to respond, overall not a bad place to stay.

Great location but noisy
Excellent communication with host and easy check in/out process. Room was clean with decent amenities and is a short walk to Manitou Springs shopping and attractions. Construction directly in front of building made getting in/out of parking lot difficult but this was almost complete by the time we left. We are light sleepers so our biggest complaint was the noise - the walls are very thin, the floors and doors creak, the single pane windows provided very little noise barrier between the outside, and building is located on a busy street.
