State Secretariat Building - Located on a hill called Bukit Timbalan, this building was built in 1940.
Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar - also known as "The Father of Modern Johor". Standing majestically on a hilltop overlooking the Tebrau Straits, this mosque can accommodate up to 2,000 worshippers at one time.
Royal Abu Bakar Museum - built in 1866 by the late Sultan Abu Bakar. The museum, housed in the former palace has a large collection of crown jewels and historical artifacts belonging to the Johor Royal family, and an impressive collection of rare, beautiful treasures from all over the world.
