Mission Beach is a very unique and unspoilt holiday destination. It is popular due to it's relaxed village lifestyle which boasts many restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and tours.
Dunk island is a stones throw away and offers well equipped water sports facilities and the Spit Bar is available to day trippers.
Mission Beach has the closest access to the Great Barrier Reef. Regular cruises visit the reef and offshore islands daily, providing opportunities for diving, snorkelling, swimming or just lazing around.
Tully Gorge, Murray Falls,Alligators Nest, Josephine Falls and several ideal walking tracks in the area provide a never ending supply of adventure. Paronella Park is certainly worth a visit too!
