LAKE VIEW PENTHOUSE & CITY KING STUDIO The Lake View Penthouse and City King Studio are perfectly located; just 300m walk to the village green, lakefront, cafes, restaurants and city centre and are close to major attractions and geothermal parks. Privacy is assured with free parking, excellent corporate rates and special packages. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Rooms are serviced daily. Non-hosted with 24 hour telephone assistance to the owner or manager. LAKE VIEW PENTHOUSE This very private, luxurious, fully self-contained, one bedroom penthouse apartment has stunning views of Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island and the steamy, historical Maori village of Ohinemutu. Facilities include: Spacious open-plan lounge and master bedroom - both with double french windows leading out to a large balcony. There is a café style kitchen with fridge/freezer, drawer dishwasher, microwave, cook top and a 42" plasma TV, DVD player, SKY TV. Spoil yourself and enjoy complimentary continental breakfast and refreshment provisions on the lovely sunny balcony as you enjoy amazing views of the lake. The Penthouse accommodates up to 3 guests; the rate is for 2 guests. A double sofa bed is available for an extra guest at $50 per/night. CITY KING STUDIO This newly renovated, private City Studio with city views has an en-suite bathroom, king size bed and a single bed. Facilities include: TV, fridge, microwave, tea & coffee facilities. The studio is perfect for sales representatives or couples having a night out in the city. Park your car, settle in and then just and wander down to the local restaurants at your leisure! The studio accommodates 3 guests and rate is for 2 guests. Extra guest $30 per/night. | Getting There |
By car south from Taupo: Follow the main street, which is Fenton Street, to the lakefront. Turn left onto Whakaue Street then turn right at round-about onto Lake Road and proceed straight through a second round-about (Lake Road). Continue up Lake Road to number 21 and you will find Lake Road Lodge on your right hand side. By car north from Auckland: Turn left off Fairy Springs Road at major intersection on to Lake Road (intersection will have a car lot with billboards on one corner). Continue along Lake Road until another set of lights, turn left at these lights. Continue up Lake Road a little way until number 21 where you will find Lake Road Lodge on your left-hand side, just before the village green and lakefront. Maori Concert and Hangi (feast), 300 metres to scenic flights by helicopter and float plane; Lake Rotorua Cruise, boating and fishing attractions, boat ramp, historical and geothermal Maori Village - St Faiths Church and Tamatekapua Meeting House, master carver's workshop. Visit the Rotorua Museum and art deco Blue Baths and also the srts centre. Enjoy your time at the Agrodome, Skyline Gondolas and Luge, and the New Zealand Farm show and the Kiwi Encounters.
