| Getting There |
Prominently located at the southern end of the Basin Reserve. Access is via Sussex/Rugby Street. How do you get here: From the Airport: Follow signs to city. Go through the Mt Vic tunnel and when you exit the Mt Victoria tunnel, get into left hand lane. Follow around 'The Basin' in this lane and The Marksman is clearly visible from the southern end. From Railway/Ferry Terminal: Follow Customhouse/Jervois Quay through to cable Street. At Tory Street, turn right and then carry on along Tory Street which then turns into Tasman Street. Turn left into Rugby Street and then left into Sussex Street From North (SH1 & SH2): Follow SH1/2 right through to the Terrace Tunnel. Carry on down Ghuznee Street and at the bottom of Ghuznee Street turn right into Taranaki Street. Turn left into Vivian Street and then 1st right into Tory Street. Follow though on Tory Street which then becomes Tasman Street. Turn left into Rugby Street and then left into Sussex Street If you do not have a vehicle, Taxis, Shuttles & Buses (catch a bus that is going via Basin reserve) will deliver you safely to our door. |

Wellington is a wonderland with plenty of things to see and do. The Marksman Motor Inn is well positioned so that you are able to park your car for the duration of your stay and utilise public transport (or your feet) to get where you need to be.
