Mudgee is a haven for artists with world reknown artist exhibiting locally. Antique stores. A short drive to historic Gulgong where you can see Henry Lawson's House. An interesting drive to Hill End where you can try your hand at gold panning. Mudgee has markets on 2 weekends a month and a monthly Farmers market. Make this your base to do a day trip to Dubbo's Western Plains Zoo, Wellington Caves and historic Sofala. Mudgee is also in the centre of some beautiful National Parks, including Wollemi, Goulburn River and Coolah Tops National Parks. |
