Transportation Town of Avon Shuttle: The Avon shuttle runs daily and picks up at the front resort. Rides throughout Avon are free of charge however there is a charge when riding the shuttle to Vail. Taxi: The front desk will be happy to arrange taxi service for guests. Driving Directions: o From Denver International Airport (East) – Exit the airport via Pena Boulevard headed to Interstate 70 west. Proceed on I-70 west from Denver past Vail and exit at exit 167 (Avon). Proceed south through the roundabout onto Avon Rd. and turn right onto West Beaver Creek Blvd. The resort will be ahead on the left. o From Steamboat Springs – Yampa Valley Regional Airport (North) – Head southwest on CR-80 towards CR-76 by turning right. Make a sharp left onto CR-76, which soon becomes Walnut Street. Turn left onto Jefferson Avenue, which becomes US-40. Turn right onto Spruce Street, then left onto CR-179, right onto CR-33 and then left onto CR-27. Turn right onto Main Street, which becomes CO-131. Turn left to take the Interstate 70 east ramp towards Denver. Merge onto I-70 east and exit at exit 167 (Avon). Proceed south through the roundabout onto Avon Road. Turn right onto West Beaver Creek Blvd. The resort will be just ahead on the left. o From Grand Junction – Walker Field Airport (West) – Head southwest on Horizon Drive and turn left. Take the Interstate 70 east ramp towards Denver. Merge onto I-70 east and exit at exit 167 (Avon). Proceed south through the roundabout onto Avon Road. Turn right onto West Beaver Creek Blvd. The resort will be just ahead on the left. o From Colorado Springs Airport (South) – Head northeast (right) via the airport entrance towards the “return to terminal” sign. Turn slightly to the left onto the Airport exit which turns into East Drennan Road. Turn right onto South Powers Blvd. and then left onto East Fountain Blvd. Head straight to US-24 west and continue straight to the Interstate 25 north ramp. Merge onto I-25 and proceed to exit 194 (CO-470 west / E-470 Tollway). Merge onto the CO-470 west ramp and then onto CO-470 west. Take the I-70 west exit on the left towards Grand Junction. Merge onto I-70 and continue to exit 167 (Avon). Proceed south through the roundabout onto Avon Road, then turn right onto West Beaver Creek Blvd. The resort will be just ahead on the left. o From Eagle Airport (West) – Exit the airport and follow signs to Interstate 70. Proceed on I-70 east towards Denver. Take exit 167 (Avon) and proceed south through the roundabout onto Avon Road. Turn right onto West Beaver Creek Blvd. The resort will be just ahead on the left. |
