Meridian Caloundra is an eight storey apartment block overlooking the beautiful Kings Beach which opened in 1999. A two minute walk will put you in between the flags of Kings beach, which is patrolled all year round. A short stroll will have you visiting theatres, restaurants, cafe's, hotels and all shopping facilities. Meridian offers luxury features in all our 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, fitted with all the comforts of home for your convenience, including full kitchen facilities, with under bench stainless steel wall oven, stainless steel dishwasher, ceran cooktops, microwave, insinkerator, granite benchtops and a large refrigerator. All units have an ensuite and 2nd bathroom. A seperate laundry is in the unit with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron. All units have a TV and VCR, some have DVD players, eight cable TV channels, direct dial ISD/STD phones. Linen is included in the tariff, but we ask you bring a beach towel for use outside in our heated pool or at the beach. We have a broadband internet kiosk located in the reception area for keeping in touch with loved ones, or for surfing the Net. 75% of units now with reverse cycle air conditioning. | Getting There |
By car, one hour north of Brisbane Take the Caloundra turnoff from the Bruce Highway, stay on Caloundra Road. It will take you up the main street of Caloundra, Bulcock Street. Continue up Bulcock Street until you reach a roundabout, straight through the first, second and third roundabouts. Meridian Caloundra is situated on the top of the hill on the right hand side on the corner of Burgess and Albert Streets Kings Beach. Bus transfers Door to door bus services are available from either the Brisbane or Maroochydore airports. Transfers start from $38/senior from Brisbane, and from $25/adult from Maroochydore. |
| Parking |
Secure basement car parking is provided with designated car parks. One car space is allocated per two bedroom unit, with street parking for additional cars. Three bedroom apartments are allocated two car spaces. |
| Things To Do |
On your doorstep you have walking tracks, fishing, sailboarding, surfing, boating and sunbathing. Locally you can play golf (Club Pelican...the Greg Norman designed golf course or Caloundra golf course), bowls, ten pin bowling, or visit the skate park. Nearby attractions include Australia Zoo, Underwater World, Aussie World, Forest Glen sanctuary, the Big Pineapple, the Superbee and Bellingham maze. Montville, Maleny, The glass house mountains and the Sunshine Coast hinterland are within pleasant driving distance. |
