Megaboom City Hotel - Sydney Hotels

Megaboom City Hotel

Level 1, 93 York Street, Sydney - Map
"Good location had a king room but not king size!"
Overall the hotel met my need of being in the right location for a reasonable price. I had a king size room with view over the street. No street noise but noise from inside I was by the lift well which was noisy the lift announcements could be heard clearly in the room and people in the corridor sounded like they were in the room. I would stay there again but in a different room!

"Close to Opera House"
Well maintained and very comfortable room with great view over Quayside & Opera House through dirty windows. Great views from restaurant bar over the harbour Bridge. Our room was and hour late being ready and we picked up our own bags due to porter tardiness. Requisite $100 deposit paid on arrival by credit card on 22/11 but still waiting for the necessary refund on 25/11.

"Airport Hotel"
Second time staying in this hotel. Very comfortable with excellent ammenities, and helpful staff. Only problem I had was as I was flying on a very early long haul flight , asked for a wake up call , ...I was travelling alone and only getting 4 hours sleep. Fortunately I set an alarm , a little later as backup. I didn't receive my wake up call, and had a rush to get to airport on time. The reception member of staff , apologised and kindly waivered my wifi connection fee. By writing this , I hope this mistake is rectified for any other customers and some other wakeup call system is put into place.
