"Oasis in the city"
The Stamford Plaza has been my place for mini breaks when travelling from my home in country Victoriia. It's an all suite hotel and the staff are the best service I've ever experienced. The food is fantastic and it's the perfect place to go to do some retail therapy or just to chill and relax!

On arrival staff were prompt and courteous. Our room was ready before check-in time. We had views of the bay and river. Nice restaurant in the hotel. Overall a good experience as walking distance from shopping and eateries.

"Convenient and comfortable. "
We have stayed here when traveling by train to Southern Cross and using the Sky Bus to the airport the next day. Very convenient as it is only a short walk. Last time we arrived in the morning and asked to leave our bags, but were offered a room straight away which was very nice.

"Good medium range hotel"
Generally very happy with everything - Our room didn't have a window though so a bit disconcerting (Room 1501). Also would have been nice to have a bigger bathroom with a bath.

"A luxury city escape."
For the first time we ordered breakfast to be taken in our room and we were delighted by the quality and value it represented. Also for the first time I ate my evening meal in Collins Kitchen and thought that the three small plates I ordered were of high restaurant quality.
