We received an upgrade when we arrived, our room was large, excellent river views!! Comfortable bed which is always a must! Very safe & staff were wonderful, especially Alistair (duty manager) & Rachael (brekky restaurant) & the young man who seated us for brekky (cannot remember his name but he was simply lovely, very friendly & welcoming)

More than a basic hotel room and very clean. A lovely shower and a good view from the window. Bed was comfy especially after we found the second lot of pillows in the cupboard. Only drawback is the lack of wifi.
