We can't fault the hotel and especially the rooms with river view. We always stay when in Melbourne. Staff are excellent. The location is extremely convenient. However this time we were disappointed with our dinner in the Collins restaurant. My husband had pork belly skewers and then duck which were both undercooked and tough. I had oysters and kingfish and these were fine.

Room was clean and adequate, although the shower could do with a renovation; it had mould and looked dirty. The staff were friendly, however I could hear noises around the location of my room, water rushing, doors being opened and closed. regularly, which was very distracting. The spa and sauna facilities are old and tired, needs a refresh.
