The first room was atrocious, very dirty, dirty bed linen, the second room was slightly better. I guess that’s what you get when you book budget travel. Lesson learned, we’ll never make that mistake again!

Wouldnt recommend. The shower is next to the bed, actually within the room. It has no door, just a shower curtain!! Theres a small amount of laminate flooring, otherwise the water just runs onto the carpet!! No hairdryer in the room. No extra toiletries. No face washers. Only 1 pillow each. Power point and bedside table on one side of the bed, but nothing on the other. The toilet is beyond compact, my knees almost touched the door! This hotel doesnt lie when it says budget!!! To finish the experience, my coffee mug handle fell off and coffee landed in my lap and a ceramic shard cut my finger.

Mouldy shower, damp carpet in the room. Hallway was saturated, presumably an attempt to clean them. Aircon unit appeared to be shaking out of the window, rattled the night away. TV reception was terrible. Overall manky and yuck. Stayed at Ibis hotels a lot before but not budget.... STAY AWAY....

I understand this is a low end option, but the place is awful. The quality of the room is beneath basic expectations. The room felt like it had not seen any basic maintenance in years, you pass wheeliebins in the corridor when trying to get to your room, the bed linen is clean but worn and clearly old, there are two mugs but no glasses in the room. Its a depressing place to return to, I am surprised ibis put their name to it. I booked based on location and convenience for a work trip, during the week of the Australian open so few options. The pictures show a basic hotel but don't prepare you for the low quality. I bought as a package with flights, but i didn't get the feeling it was cheap, i regularly visit Melbourne on business and this did not come across as a cheap option. Was relieved to check out.
