One week booking for daughter in Melb for work. Property well below your standards and did not meet standards guaranteed under Australian consumer law. Allocated room had a strong smell from the bathroom. Described it as an open drain/sewer, and it may well have been sewer gas. I texted the managers and asked to either fix the problem or find a new room. They offered a new room. When she arrived from work she was told to pack all her things and bring them to reception where she could get the new room key. No assistance was offered. This would have meant repacking a 25kg suitcase and groceries. Eventually agreed to give her the key instead and she made many trips to transfer unassisted. New room - no hot water in shower. I reported this by SMS and asked the managers to fix. They went to the room, reported hot water OK and would be happy to explain how to use the shower. On return from work she put the mixer in position and let the water run. No hot water. My daughter has travelled extensively/knows how a shower mixer works! We had little option but to move out, she packed up and left that evening 23 June. We had use of the property for four of the seven days we have paid for, and are out-of-pocket as a result. We ask you give consideration to a credit/refund. We have dealt with WOTIF for many years and are very unhappy. Not least we are unhappy because I couldn’t find any way to communicate more fully in writing nor phone, so hope someone at WOTIF reads this and responds.

The apartment was conveniently in the centre of the city, close to attractions and services such as shops. Very close to the free tram service. An enjoyable stay.

Bed and pillows are very comfy. Found the shower to be not very clean, there was mold around the base. There were slippers provided but didn't look like brand new so there was no way we would have used.
