Oaks on Felix

26 Felix Street, Brisbane - Map
Nice hotel however no air conditioning in bedroom and ceiling fan in bedroom would only work on lowest speed, too much outside noise to have window open. Having said that rest of the room was nice and great proximity to everything.

"Stunning Views "
I spent nearly a week in Brisbane to catch up with some friends and wanted some where close to the city and restaurants. I couldn't have found a nicer or better place to stay. Having your own kitchen and a decent size fridge gives you the option of cooking if you want or to entertain on the balcony. Wednesday had a fresh food market day in the city I'm not sure if I was just lucky or it's a regular thing but I got some sensational homemade food and fresh produce. Perfect for entertaining friends. Then you have the views looking over the river and bridge was beautiful day or night even watching the rain storms coming through. A great place to stay, plenty of room and close to everything. My only criticism the bed is hard in the middle and could probably do with a overlay of some sort to remove that.

"Convenient location a friendly hotel."
Our twin single room was clean and neat. They were busy with some renovations in the lobby. We basically just needed a bed and a shower and that's what we got.

"Stayed overnight in the city"
Really convenient location and nice restaurant. Friday night tapas special and live music was great. Room and bed were mostly comfortable. Only bad thing was our aircon was working but only just. We had it as cold as possible but it didn't seem to work very well. Kept waking up hot through the night.
