We stayed at the hotel Meriton. We had an apartment which included a living area , kitchen and washing machine. We found the extra space was great. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfy. Location was just what we wanted, close to the Suncorp stadium and walkable for CBD areas. We did a lot of walking! Close to the train where we used our credit card to tap on/off for the airport and Gold Coast. We loved Brisbane & the Meriton

My recent stay at a well-known five-star hotel offered spacious rooms and commendable amenities like a swimming pool and spa. However, it didn't entirely live up to the five-star standard. The bed and kitchen were adequate, but the bathroom experience was disappointing. A poorly designed shower led to water flooding the bathroom floor, a mishap not expected at such a reputed hotel. The solution offered by the hotel staff, extra towels, seemed like a temporary fix rather than a proper resolution. While the hotel shines in some aspects, this experience left me questioning its commitment to the luxury and service expected from a five-star establishment.
