Unfortunately the hotel didn’t tell me they have months and months of jack hammer work that shakes the entire hotel from 6am until 5pm Monday to Saturday…! Forced to to cancel several zoom calls as the background hammering was ridiculous. Wouldn’t have stayed if I had known now will never stay again. They even left ear plugs in the room knowing how loud it is.

Pet Friendly Doggo Heaven!

We have stayed many a time at Sage Hotel James Street in Brisbane because it offers great value for money, friendly and helpful service and great location. Now, as we have been dog-sitting our Granddoggy Loki, we needed to find a hotel that was Pet-Friendly for a recent sojourn to Brisbane, and were delighted to find that Sage is precisely that. Loki was made to feel very welcome, with a lovely memory foam mattress doggy-bed, special treats, and what's more, Dinosaur Design dog-bowls!!! We can highly recommend Sage Hotel for anyone who needs accommodation in one of Brisbane's hot spots wishing to share the experience with their doggo!

Fantastic stay. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Really nicely fitted out, beautiful finishes and crisp quality linen. No construction noise - yay! Ian was super friendly and helpful. I loved the fact you could even get a freshly made coffee at reception too! Top notch venue and staff!

The room smelt a bit mouldy and noise from construction site over the road at 6:30 am wasn’t pleasant. The bathroom could do with a good steam clean and changing of the bathroom door so unwanted smells don’t leak out due to poor sliding door design.

A small boutique hotel with a good feel
