From check in the whole stay was a muddle of errors. To start with our reservation was not transferred into their system so they had no room allocated to us. We had to wait for some time to have this sorted and I wonder if this resulted in a lower level room being issued. Then we were told we didn’t have breakfast included…another delay to sort this out. Breakfast arrived at our room promptly at time requested but the food was cold, only one salt and pepper sachet offered for 2 meals. Then at check out they attempted to charge us for the breakfast that was included. All errors were dealt with but disappointing that the check in and check out process wasn’t smooth or relaxing at all. Not inclined to want to stay again at this hotel

As previously (pre-Covid) regular guests we were happy with our room. Only 1 lift working was a pain but most surprised & disappointed that the much loved buffet breakfast is gone, especially as it is still advertised through the hotel at lifts etc.

The Point is a lovely hotel, very handy location to the city, by car or ferry. The staff are wonderful, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great stay, thank you.

Great property let down by rooms that are not very quite. You can hear every time a door opens or closes on the floor, people talking as they walk past, noisy aircon. Great location and staff are amazing but someway of making the rooms a lot more quite would make it a perfect place to stay
