The staff were exceptional. Every single staff member delivered the best customer service. The room service (blue swimmer crab omelette) was delicious and arrived very quickly and was reasonably priced. The beds are very comfortable and there was nice linen and plenty of fresh towels. The toiletries products were also wonderful. Enjoyed the bath. Location was also excellent, easy walk to the cbd, botanical gardens, pier, southbank etc. Also right on top of central station. Lovely stay, thank you. My only tips would be to ensure the pool and spa are heated! And sound proof the rooms with new windows. And do a quick general maintenance check. Otherwise, it was great! Thank you.

The quality has really dropped over the years. No longer is there a minibar, I ordered a sack of chocolate, took about 1 hour to be delivered. TV old nd crap kept self turning off randomly every 20-30 minutes ad lose place in whereto movie ist, no longer give slippers, only 1 robe to share between 2, despite asking housekeeping for another, they have cut down on the bathroom products, no body lotion, shower cap nor sewing kit. Iron really old and kept leaking water, ironing board cover ill fitting, kettle really old, no coffee pod machine, not enough staff at breakfast, 30 plus minutes for a Coffeys even though only 3-4 other tables. The hotel facilities in the room run down and they short cut the little things. When paying $400 plus a night, you expect a mini bar stocked fridge, prompt service, a decent television and bathroom product. Fzood service emend very limited.

Lovely room, comfy beds, it was great to be able to order omelettes or eggs how you like them at the breakfast buffet. Nice ambiance in the bar. Room service meals and restaurant were tasty.
