Poor maintenance, dirty carpets, dirty furniture, stuffed fan in ensuite, broken toilet seat, water not draining from bathroom sink, tiles lifting on balcony, bedhead loose and banging. Furniture on balcony falling apart. And then u have the audacity to ask us to empty the bins before we leave, u have to be joking. If this is the standard of upkeep we won't be back and would like a partial refund.

Overall, wonderful stay - apartment was great. A few things to note: The balcony didn't drain. It was under water for the duration of our stay. The master bed mattress needs flipping and rotating. There is a large dip on the right hand side. Information regarding where to park when we first arrived to check-in and how to get to reception from there would have been helpful. Thanks for hosting us - we'd definitely stay here again.

We waited 30 min to check in. Only one receptionist on and she was sorting out their booking problem. The room was comfortable and equipped. The bathroom drains need to be cleaned as the room was smelly. There was no ice tray and could do with a coffee table to make it more comfortable.

I was on level 8 of the Ivy building (I think) and there was a stench in the hallway that was nauseating throughout my entire stay. My apartment thankfully did not smell. It was well laid out albeit on the small side, however it was only me so that didn't really matter. There was hairs stuck to the soap bottle in the ensuite bathroom (near the sink) so felt like the apartment was unclean. My bedroom was facing towards the Brisbane River. I am VERY light sensitive so struggled to sleep the 3 nights I was there as I kept thinking it was morning with the amount of light streaming into my room. I'd definitely consider staying again, due to the location, but would absolutely take an eye mask next time.

The hotel itself is dated and the rooms need some refreshment. Shower leaks with a pool of water outside it once finished. Very noisy with 2 lots of construction works going on just outside the room, jack hammers early morning. Would have been nice to have been supplied coffee and dishwashing liquid for the duration of our 5 nights stay. Had to leave the room to get a takeaway coffee which is Not ideal...
