Poor. we were expecting a Peppers experience and realised early in the piece (when someone got into the lift smashed and swore at us for no reason at 7pm!) that it wasn't going to be that... First - To only have valet parking is a horrible start. Happy to pay but I want to be able to go to and from the car... had lots of meetings and don't want to wait 15 mins for every drop off and pick up. Ended parking on the street which is (a) hard and (b) you can only stay 4 hours Mon to Fri and (c) costs. Apparently some sort of insurance reason - bizarre. We didn't have 1 minute's sleep on the Sat night as there was a loud party above - the floor is paper thin and you can hear people talk, go to the toilet and it was like they were in the next room. Eventually security stopped the party at 4am. Tried to change rooms the next night but it wasn't possible. The receptionist and security guard were nice though. Ear plugs were bought for the other nights.... hmmm. Details were just missing - no plug for the sink, someone had punched a hole in the bedhead, NO HANGERS (!), no drawer space... so clothes were squeezed into the Gideons bible drawer in the bedside table. So weird to have no hangers & no drawer space in an apartment. Best thing was the rooftop bar next door - which I believe isn't Peppers. No issue with noise in FV & people having a great time. But the infrastructure of a premium hotel is terrible - the insulation between the floors is unacceptable - won't stay again.

At Peppers, we pride ourselves on our high levels of service and offering and it is disappointing to hear we missed the mark on this occasion. We are a mixed use development in the dedicated entertainment precinct of Fortitude Valley and whilst we are higher end, the area has some way to go to meet FV. I am sorry to hear there were no hangers in the apartment which is standard inventory and this will be addressed immediately. The sound proofing will be investigated further to ensure our guests receive a quality nights sleep. Thank you again for your feedback and we do hope you will try us again. Valet parking was a joke late every day and wrong car delivery. Communication regarding room upgrade did not occur. Alternative parking conditions at Metro not explained at all incurred $75 fine despite paying $30 VIP to park there and lug luggage up the street for 5 minutes. Room was fine but for the price left a lot to be desired. Will seek alternative accommodation in the future and will be letting the company travel hub know

Absolutely loved the apartment in Forresters Hall. Not sure if facilities family friendly though (noted on our last day). During the week was great however on the weekend there seemed to be some groups getting together at both pools - lots of music (a little loud) dancing and drinking - very much a party atmosphere rather than a relaxing resort-style lounge and swim. Reminded me a little like love island and the behaviours not something I would have wanted my child exposed to. Am not sure if they were residents or hotel guests so appreciate it can be hard to police. That was the only thing that let it down otherwise amazingly beautiful place and very friendly staff.

The Property was fantastic but the surrounding area was terrible. I knew that I was staying in the Valley when I booked but every morning my family were confronted by homeless asking for cigarettes or money. On the last night there was a street fight between a bunch of junkies. The kids noted the three strip clubs and sex shop within the same block. Its a def hard no for a family stay.

We were impressed with the proximity of the hotel to the city and restaurants. The room was beautiful and the beds were luxurious. However, it would have been nice to have some large curtains to block out the light from the street at night and the morning light as the blinds barely covered up the windows. The bathrooms were standard and clean, however it would have been nice to have a shelf in the shower for our products to sit on, rather than just on the floor. We also couldn’t find a sharp knife anywhere for prepping food, we had to use standard butter knives which was really difficult. The fridge was a good size as was the dishwasher and oven. The roof top pool was absolutely stunning! Beautiful views and the pool was a lovely temperature, however it would have been good to have some more shade up there, even a sail cover so there is some shaded areas to sit and relax out of the sun.
