Was good but over $700 is very expensive for 1 night for a room. Just because you can does not mean you should jack prices up for events.

I truly don't know why I have not stayed here before, it was a fantastic stay, in every way. Every facet from calling ahead for directions to the easy valet service, the welcome and helpful team at Reception who ensured I updated my Hyatt membership, to the plentiful breakfast and friendly team in the dining area each day. Then our rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds, fast free wifi, and it was so quiet. Your room service and also cleaning team are incredibly fast and thorough too. I had the most restful stay, I'm so impressed! Conveniently located to everything we love in the Brisbane CBD too. We will definitely return.

Think twice!
At reception we were told they had been very busy and we would receive a call when our room was ready so we went for a walk. After 3.5 hours and no call or message we returned and asked what is happening or should we go to the Hilton and see if they had a room. Rick told us he had left a message which was untrue as a my smart watch and phone had no such message. He then told us our luggage was in our room and gave us the key card- no instructions as to which floor, which lift etc. and we had to return to the front desk to ask these questions. Our room was clean and comfortable however the room advertised as having a river view should have been described as “ a room overlooking the air conditioning units in .Queen St Mall with a glimpse of the river if you got right into the corner of the room and pressed your face against the window” . We decided not to eat at the hotel after ordering a “house” glass of sparkling wine and being charged $24. This experience certainly is not what we expected of a Hyatt hotel and confirmed for us that when staying in Brisbane we will stay at the Marriott where we know we will get the service expected of a quality hotel

The position was great. As we approached the hotel, we were unsure if the narrow shared lane was the actual way to get to the Hyatt. We went around again and called the Hyatt to confirm that we were going the correct way which the lady at the Hyatt confirmed was right. When we then got to the entrance on Burnett st, we were informed by the valet people that the car park was full. We were then given a map to another car park under the uptown shopping complex. The text on the map was tiny and could hardly be read. Would have even nice to be informed of the full car park when we rang to confirm our approach to the Hyatt. All the staff were good and apologetic but….. It was a Saturday night and there were numerous events on in the city yet when we got back to the Hyatt, we had a drink at the bar then went to order another and were told the bar was now closed. No last call just closed. We saw at least 20-30 disappointed people arrive to be refused service. My point is, if an international brand like Hyatt can’t keep its bar facilities open in the centre of a capital city when it’s only about 11pm and obviously a lot of their guests are returning from entertainment events then apart from lost revenue, I find it a bit embarrassing for the Hyatt brand.

Fantastic Brisbane Hotel Option
One of the better hotel experiences I’ve had in recent memory. We arrived early from a 16 hour red-eye, Rick at the front desk worked some magic and found us a room we could immediately check-in to. All of the staff at the Hyatt Regency were truly exceptional!! The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable, nothing will stand out and “wow” you but I have zero complaints about the property. It opens out into the Queen Street Mall so shopping and restaurants are easy to walk to. I recommend taking the 15 minute walk along the river to the South Bank area where you’ll see some further restaurants, a walk through rain forest and other attractions. I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency for any stay in Brisbane!

This hotel way far 5 Star. Small rooms, very good breakfast but terrible lunch and dinner. All personal and employees very good and friendly. İ wake up from the bed middle of the night with my leg burning feel. When I turned the lights i saw a big cockroach. İ couldn't sleep after that. İ report to front desk and took a picture.
