Dear Ms KOLARIK, Thank you for your feedback. We were never notified of any issues with the chair. After this review, however, we inspected the room and have found that indeed the chair was slightly unstable, and have fixed it straight away. In regards to the bites you mentioned, we take such claims very seriously. Our team is trained to recognise signs of bed bugs, as that is something that needs to be treated immediately. The marks you had in your body did not look like bites from bed bugs, and that was explained to you indeed. Furthermore, you forgot to mentioned that both our Executive Housekeeper and our Assistant General Manager have inspected the room, the mattress, the frame, bed head, sheets and anywhere else they could possibly try to locate bed bugs, and nothing was found. You also mentioned to one member of the team that both you and your husband were bitten, but when the team asked your husband, he said he was not bitten whatsoever. What was offered to you, before we discovered there were no bed bugs in the room, was the following: To ensure you did not carry anything with you, we asked that you got changed in the bathroom, gave us your clothing and we would have it professionally washed to ensure they were clean of bugs. That was mainly to protect you and your husband, as that would not be something you would like to take it home with you. We explained that clearly, and, at the time, you said you understood but would prefer to stay in the same room even if there were bugs there. After your departure yesterday, we had a professional pest control company come and inspect the property, to ensure there was indeed no signs of bed bugs. They have inspected your apartment and the three adjacent ones to each side, and have found no signs whatsoever of bed bugs. Once again, we thank you for your feedback and wish you a lovely weekend.
