Location was very convenient for me and my elderly sister. Room was very comfortable but the toilet was a problem. It was difficult to use the shower as the water tends to run towards the room. The floor between the toilet and room is also uneven. Need to be bit careful when you walk. Front desk could be more friendly.

Please stop insistance on online checkin

hotel ok...restaurant not operating, a pity as nowhere else to eat nearby. But the insistance on online checking in before arrival was difficult, too 1.5 hours as so many problems with the system. And it was completely unnecessary. They should make it optional because it is very unwieldly, insists on haveing a copy of driving licence or passport even if you live in australia... and we oldies struggle with computers without neeing to learn about taking and uploading photos!

Park Regis

We had an okay stay at Park Regis. We requested a high room but unfortunately, got one on the 6th floor. The room had a very strange smell so we asked if we could transfer rooms. They came and investigated the smell but couldn't change our room as it was full. As it was only an overnight stay, they provided us with some air freshener and we put up with it, although it was very off-putting. The apartment had an awkward layout but was clean enough and the shower was powerful. The staff were very helpful regarding the smell and the inclusive breakfast was good.

Expedia listed and billed prices in $US dollars, not $AU. This was not indicated anywhere and other prices on the page were in $AU. Quite shocked when the billed price came through as AU$1850, not the $1040 price listed on the website. Park Regis itself was great, and still reasonable value for a CBD hotel close to everything.
