For the price I paid I did not expect to be looking at a railway line and have only free to air television available. The art work and design sucks. The staff were great the position in south bank terrific the breakfast fast and generous but lacking simpler versions, fruit yoghurt etc . I’m happy to answer any further questions

Amenities and staff - duty manager that checked us in was lovely however we had just been on a 8 day cruise and I had booked this hotel as online it stated laundry facilities were available , duty manager on was going to help us swap rooms however she must of knocked off for the day - I spoke to another staff member and tha were not good to deal with and had no care at all for my needs - I asked to swap rooms to one with a washing machine and was quoted an extra $800 on top of what my room was - that was it no help at all and no suggestion as to where to get laundry facilities . Put a lot of stress on our family and we had to buy new clothes

The food and staff were great, very nice and friendly and food delicious and consistent. We stayed 5 nights and the room was not in good shape. It had a musty smell and there was a little mould around vents. Room turnover one time didnt have toilet paper replaced so had to ask for more. I worked in 4 star hotels in sydney and don't like to give bad feedback, if it wasn't for the staff at the mantra, this would be a 1 star rating.
