Outstanding accomodation in the sub-penthouse! The only thing stopping me giving 5 stars was the unpleasant smell in the room. I don’t think it’s anything sinister, just a shame. And after a while you don’t notice it. The room was amazing though.

The central location of this hotel is fantastic - it's so close to everything in the CBD. The parking situation is hard to navigate, particularly with current roadworks. The Royal Albert has vintage charm and is clean. Some attention to detail is needed, but it didn't distract from a great stay.

We had read a lot of bad reviews before we arrived but our stay was excellent. Yes,the carpets might need renewing but our apartment had everything we needed. Great kitchen and appliances. Large lounge dining room. Plenty of space in the bedroom. Updated bathroom and a handy laundry. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again as in the heart of Brisbane and easy to get around

Excellent location right in the heart of town. Room was a bit dated, with some fittings showing their age in both style and wear. The room size was amazing with plenty of space to relax if necessary. Check in was easy and relatively clear, but no wifi details on the card folder other than 'ask reception' - would be better to include this information or offer it up at check in. Check out was good, with clear guidance on how to tackle the parking aspect; this worked as explained and was straight-forward. I would probably pick a more modern place next time as I felt this location was overpriced for the quality.

Ideal Location for a city stay. Quiet rooms, well appointed with Laundry and Kitchen. Friendly staff. A couple of little maintenance issues with room that the staff resolved. Perfect for the holiday we wanted.

Was surprised by the stairs in the room. Bathroom very dated and shower terrible but the room is a great size, very quiet considering location and age of building. Bed very comfy and location was very central. Cafe downstairs very handy.

A lovely old fashioned hotel in the middle of Brisbanes busy shopping area . Only stayed one night so didn’t use the facilities in the hotel. The room had a washing machine and dryer which would have come in very useful if we had stayed longer. Staff were all helpful and friendly would definitely stay again

There is a management problem with this hotel. I don’t feel safe in it because when I return to my room next day I found my room’s door was widely open. My room’s door was open while I was not in the hotel! It stunned me. I reported it to the front desk immediately and nobody gave me an explanation just like nothing has happened. This is my first time experience like that, terrible experience.

Overall experience is great. Great price, great location, furniture is a bit outdated but working. Bathroom nice and clean, my room has laundry, kitchenette including microwave. Staffs were friendly.
