Thank you for your review Sarah. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise on behalf of our team for your negative experience. Covid-19 has impacted on our inventory, patrons & staffing quite dramatically; due to limited staffing and lack of holiday guests, the Resort is not currently operating Reception on weekends. We do have many units in our complex which are privately owned and listed online, it can be a process of elimination to ensure that guests have booked to stay as part of the Resort and not through a channel ran by a private owner. There may have been some delays also as the booking was only created on a Saturday morning, as a same day arrival. Please accept my apologies that you felt it was implied that you had been mistaken, I can only assume that the staff member was using a method of investigation to ensure the booking was accurate & correct before handing you the keys, and was not intending to cause you any distress. Once again, I would like to thank you for choosing to stay with us and sincerely apologise for the mentioned inconveniences. We thank you for your feedback. Paradise Palms Resort was full most days over the Christmas/New Year period. Many of our guests were from close by towns and suburbs and had their own transport, hence the busy car park. We had experienced some wild winds and rain over our wet season which can impact the grounds, up-keep of our lush gardens and many pathways is a daily occurance, however, it may have required some extra attention over the dates that you stayed with us. For that we apologise, we have since increased our public areas maintenance in an effort to ensure the common areas are looking their best at all times. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your spacious accommodation and our on-site facilities. We made many improvements to the playground in 2019 and we are pleased that your family found our pool and playground facilities memorable! We hope we can welcome you back to Paradise Palms should you visit the far north again!

Good Afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay. We are sorry to hear that you did not thoroughly enjoy time with us. With regards to dining, unfortunately, the low number of patrons dining on Sunday, Monday & Tuesdays did not support these nights to continue being open for Dinner. The operation changes were made regretfully in mid-2018. We still offer Breakfast & Lunch 7 days a week. We have done our upmost best to ensure both the public and guests are informed of this charge having this mentioned on all correspondence, websites and signage throughout the Resort/Common areas. Whilst we understand your disappointment with needing to travel in order to dine out, should you return, there are various establishments close by which offer coach pick-up as well as access to Uber/Taxis and rental car hire. Our Restaurant is still also open Wednesday - Saturday for dinner also. We agree that cold water and ice should be available in apartment accommodation and more care may need to be taken in ensuring TV remotes are available and easily accessible in the room as these sometime go missing. We apologize for the lack of attention to detail with the housekeeping issues mentioned, these were oversights on our part. Our bedding configuration is 'King-Split' bedding, this allows our accommodation to offer Twin, Double and Quad share. The beds are designed to allow for this with zippers on the base to keep King configuration in tact and king mattress protectors/covers to ensure the comfort of guests. The bedding in these rooms are no different since opening in February 2009 and allow the Resort to be flexible in how guests can be accommodated for in our rooms given our wide range of clientele.
