We were not impressed that for the amount of money paid for 3 nights the services were practically non existent. Like cleaning the room, not replacing towels daily and only if you stayed 8 nights would the room be attended to after 5 nights.Not good enough. The only thing in the Mantras favour is the location. As an Accor member it falls very short of expectations.

Unfortunately we were unable to stay at Mantra Esplanade Cairns from Mon 10th March to Fri 14th March due to Cyclone Alfred blocking Air or Rail travel from Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast to Cairns. We notified Mantra Cairns on Sun March 11 We received a 12 month voucher from Jetstar to use anytime in the next 12 months and would appreciate the same from Wotif Please contact me. We were very happy with our stay in the Mantra Esplanade. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. They made our stay a happy experience. The facilities were really good. The AC was so nice because it cold us from the really hot weather. It was close to everything. Just walking distance to groceries, restaurants, the lagoon swimming pool and the pier for the boats to go to green Island and the great barrier reef. Special mention to Barbara the front desk receptionist. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you to all the staff for you Special chocolate present you made our Anniversary special. It made us feel so welcome by everyone. We highly recommend Mantra Esplanade to future guest.
