I paid a premium rate for a room that was in a state of disrepair. I booked the premium sea view double room. I filled in the check in andadvised te breakfast card had been filled in by the previous guest and the fridge had a terrible smell when it was opened. The hotel manager called me the following day and offered me a courtesy buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast was terrible. The bacon was rubbery and dry, we closed the lid of the scrambled eggs straight away as they presented so badly. The juice was watered down and both the coffee machine and the coffee in a flask was undrinkable. We stuck with fruit toast and tea. The server looked like she had been crying. The next day I paid for a coffee in the bar area. A different server took my order, I paid and then she disappeared for 20 minutes. I was left sitting alone in the bar waiting for my coffee. She later returned and noticed me sitting there and made my coffee and told me she forgot. Throughout my three night stay, further maintenance was reported. The air con was leaking, I received a return email to say that maintenance would attend. I then discovered that the shower head would not stay up along with several other maintenance items reported in the same email. The shower head was replaced by maintenance without us approving access or being notified that they were attending. I notified the hotel manager but received no reply. I am very disappointed that this room was available to book as it was in such a state

Mountain view was great. The staff were very helpful and the meal was well presented, fresh and deliscious. The building itself is not new however, it is close to everything.

Older hotel but well kept. People were friendly and helpful. Location was a little further out of the way than what we expected but still walkable to the main tourist area. I'd recommend it for folks who want a good balance of price and location.

Bedroom and lounge is spacious. Bathroom is good. But the chair in the dining table is full of stained. I love the area where the hotel is and the small garden but the only problem I have is that the bedroom is smells moldy. The pillow and bedsheet ( doner/dina cover ) is mouldy smell and because of that I couldn’t sleep on the first night, my eyes was teary/crying and runny blocked nose. Nice room but wasn’t initially given room booked. View was non existent. Servicing of room great but restaurant very poor. Wouldn’t allow any changes and after speaking to manager he promised to sort and come back to me. He never did! Wouldn’t mind it the bar tender said they probably wouldn’t like it - but never went to ask! Was between ok and good; but gave a good based on room (separate bedroom) and servicing of room.
