It was difficult to find the entry of the front door. Waited for long period of time for the call centre to help on intercom just for the female worker to respond as if we knew where to go. Back door essentially looks like main entrance from Great South Rd. Shower still had mold, scuff marks on door and walls and unvacummed behind furniture. As we checked in late we couldnt get extra things as noone is on 24/7. This was very inconvenient. Bad service. Signs and website says reception open until 10pm but it is not!!! The worst was we were put in a room by the road and it was sooo noisy music blaring throughout the night First time staying at Ramada and it has been the worst experience

The reception staff are not very friendly. It does not cost money to smile and say Hi to your guest. Room only gets cleaned every 3 days which is not done properly anyways. No study desk or safe in the room. Rooms are very small and the TV on the wall is always in the way when walking around to the bed. Paid for a fridge and microwave separately and the fridge was not even a bar fridge.

Pretty average

Only one of the staff (men who checked me in) was nice the rest was awful to deal with. If you hate your job or can’t be bothered you should change. Lady I dealt with when I dropped off my bags was should change careers. Other than that the room is fine and has most things I needed, hot buffet breakfast was a bit cold so not great.

We stayed closer to the airport and away from the main city center but it was just a short 20 min drive to city center unless you hit rush hour traffic. Beautiful country.

We booked rooms at this property in February. When we arrived we found the property closed due to ongoing and extensive maintenance work. We had to scramble and book another property. Tradespeople working on the site said that we weren't the only guests to have a booking when the property was closed. I have just received an e-mail to review my stay in March. I will be checking my credit card to make sure that I haven't been charged. Wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. The effort and stress involved was unacceptable and we didn't even stay.

I have never been asked for photo ID to confirm an email booking made in New Zealand. Do they think random people turn up at the hotel and already know the name of a guest and dont worry that their fraud will be found out when the real person turns up ? Also, no Sky sport or movie channels were working for three days. You cannot tell me that it was a Sky problem and nothing could be done about it when one of the days is Friday. In 2025, having the advertised Sky channels not working for three days is just like not having a toilet in the room that works !! Avoid this hotel like the plaque.
