Amazing hotel but checking in was a mission. We arrived at 2.45 and were told the room would be ready at 3. I got a text at 3.45 to collect our key but the lone was 20 people long. Tried to explain that we just wanted our keys but were told to wait in line. Did not get to our room until about 4.30. Bags were also not taken to the room as promised. Such a shame as we had an excellent time after that but started off so frustrating

The air conditioning unit was faulty. At 5* the air was warm/hot and the room unpleasant especially sleeping. We were booked for 3 nights so on the second day we asked if it could be fixed. Later that afternoon a potable a/c was installed sucking the hot air out with 18* fanned into the room. Bliissful - it cooled the room in a few hours. Had to turn it off each night at 11pm as it was noisy but we had a good sleep and turned it on again at 6am. Excellent service.

The room was not cleaned properly . There was a visible iceblock stick on the floor I left a message with the concierge which was not returned.
