Great stay and really enjoyed the room, cleanliness and the swimming pool complex. The only area thought was lacking was front desk, staff looked stressed, check in was brief and vague, check out wasn't that much better. Room service, valet and porter were all really great. Definitely will be back.

The pinnacle tower room and view were excellent. We really enjoyed the pool to. The buffet breakfast was excellent as well. What was disappointing was how long it took for someone to answer the phone when ringing for in room dinning. I had driven 3 hours from Whangarei and was starving. I waited on the phone for a hour and still no one answered. I ended up going down to reception and getting the girl to order it for me from there. Very annoying. You do not have face cloths in your bathrooms either. I have never come across that in any hotel I have ever stayed in. That was frustrating to.

The property has quality fixtures, customer service could be better, I don't know why I paid $55 for Car Valet and you patked outside I would have expected more. And the we booked in into the Eight Restaurant for dinner for my daughters 21st Bday and I do not beleive the buffet dinner was up to sta=ndard for the price you charge. It is very overrated.
