Stayed at Mount Richmond Hotel for a week whilst visiting Auckland from overseas. Despite the location being slightly out from Auckland city, it is an easy drive into the city or public transport is available. From the moment we arrived, the young gentleman working reception in the afternoons was very kind and welcoming and extremely helpful, even providing recommendations after we had an issue with our car. The room was spotless, and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable allowing for a great night's sleep every night. The hotels facilities, including the pool and spa were excellent and great to use after a long day of sightseeing. Would highly recommend staying here!

Large double bed kept separating (2 singles pushed together), and the blankets and sheets were too small for the larger bed. It was tidy enough and looks like they've been doing updates but some corners had ripped up carpet where bugs were coming through the floor. The pool was nice but had some leaves in it. All staff were very nice and welcoming though

The room was showing its age I was in a room by the entrance door and everytime someone swiped to enter there was a load beep - went all night The TV was dismal... no apps on the tv were working and would not update so pretty much stuck for entertainment. The staff were lovely and courteous :)

It was clean room. If they set up little more toiletries stuff could be better. There were only small tube of body soap, shampoo in conditioner and half roll toilet paper. I was expecting more so I didn’t bring toiletries, so it was little inconvenience to me.
