Having on-site parking is a must for me and the ability to come and go as I please without additional charge. Construction was still noisy despite me being on the 12th floor. Hotel is showing it's age and the gym equipment was very basic.

Thank you for your review.Unfortunately, the city does have ongoing construction work for the new subway train line. The work typically goes on Monday-Saturday 7 am to 5.30 pm, however, if it goes on outside of these times and guests complain we can contact the council to request it stops.We would like to reassure you we have just received new gym equipment, however, due to its size it is limited on how much equipment we can fit into the gym.We would also like to reassure we are undergoing a project to do up the hotel and appreciate any recommendations you could give.

Excellent location, but heater rattled throughout the night even though it was not on (suspect it was the fan turning in the exterior unit).

If you want sleep, don't bother staying. Road works going all night made trying to sleep difficult. The hotel is otherwise actually really good, clean, tidy and affordable. Such a shame it is at the mercy of a myriad of road works that are still taking place in the CBD which makes the stay very unpleasant.

Thank you for the review.We are sorry to hear this.We would like to reassure you the construction work is limited to Monday-Saturdays 7 am to 5.30 pm. If however, construction work surpasses this time we can call the council to have it stopped if guests complain.Had we known your concern we could have called the council.However, once the construction for the new subway rain line is complete it will be great, as an entrance to the subway will be right by the hotel.

Hi Emmett,Thank you for review.Yes, there is a lot of road work in Auckland at the moment, this is because of the construction of New Zealand's first Subway Train Line. This will be great once its done, as an entrance to the station will be just across the street.With regard to car parking, we do recommend reserving a space in our hotel car park in advance. If we are full or your vehicle is higher than 1.8 meters there are other car parks nearby.
