This hotel is nice and central. Walking distance to catch the ferry to Waiheke Island and walking distance to all your shopping needs and restaurants. If you like to gamble, the casino is within the hotel complex, and for the adrenaline junkies, you can bungee jump or skywalk at the Skytower which is also within the hotel complex. Something for everyone I say. Whenever in Auckland this will be my go to hotel.

Stayed at SkyCity Hotel in Auckland and had a great experience overall. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants, bars, and entertainment, especially with the casino and Sky Tower just next door. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything you need for a short or extended stay. Bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet considering how central the hotel is. Staff were friendly and professional, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. Service throughout the stay was consistent and helpful. Plenty of dining options within the complex, which is a big bonus. Parking is convenient as well, especially for a central Auckland location. Overall, a reliable and well-located hotel—would definitely stay again.
