The Sky Tower in general is lovely but the Fortuna Restaurant is absolute rubbish The Food is terrible and overly expensive for what there was left on the smorgasbord. Was feeling very ill during the night and I will never eat there again.

Room was very average quality. Air con was very loud with no way of turning the fan down. Vent in bathroom was also very loud. Bed side lamps were so dim they were not worth using. No mini bar. Fridge was barely cold at maximum setting. Room given was at the far flung regions of the hotel with no housekeeping available. It seems booking through wotif seems to always get you the worst room in a hotel.

Showing its age in some respects, but still a pretty good place to stay. Area around the complex is undergoing major works and experiencing some social problems—could be confronting for some.
