Best introduction to Japan as a first time visitor. Hotel was extremely convenient for travel around Shinjuku on foot and greater Tokyo area by train/subway. Conbini just across the road and behind hotel. Room was well sized for Japan and very comfortable / quiet / clean. Loved our stay.

This hotel is very convenient to the train stations and dinning options. The staff is friendly and can speak English well. The airport limousine even stops at this hotel which is why we stayed here.

Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is my go-to hotel in Tokyo. Its location is unbeatable—right next to Shinjuku Station, with especially easy access to the Oedo Line. Being in Shinjuku means you’re surrounded by great food and endless shopping, all within walking distance. A delightful bonus is the selection of complimentary goodies in the lobby: face masks, bubble bath, toothbrushes, tea, and coffee. Everything about this place is consistently excellent!

The property is well-located and conveniently close to nearby activities. The rooms were clean but small. Good for two people if you are going to spend time outside the rooms. The staff was very friendly and assisted us with the luggage transfer.
