The shared areas are lovely, giving the impression that it is a nice establishment. However the rooms themselves are not to the same standard. For the most part the rooms are fine but they are dated. The bed is very hard and the pillows are horrible. Bathroom is nice. I was told that the would insist on making up the room up every 3 days minimum. However when I booked in a time all they did was take out the trash. None of this was a big issue. Overall the stay was pleasant, the staff was nice and helpful. I would probably not stay in this part of Tokyo again though, and definitely not if I had kids with me.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were small but in Tokyo that's pretty standard. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, good quality and value. Location was right in the middle of the action of Shinjuku, everything you need in close proximity.

Twin room had a decent amount of space for Tokyo. Good central location although a bit of a ‘party’ area in the evenings- never felt unsafe though. Great view of the city from our window. Check in fairly straight forward. Pillows a bit uncomfortable and bed reasonably hard. Overall pretty happy though

The staff were fantastic, super polite. Service was always prompt and issues handled swiftly. The only thing I would offer as a warning to visitors is to keep in mind that the cheaper single rooms are designed for one person, definitely not two visitors from north america. This is not a fault of the hotel or its staff, just a statement of fact.
