The rooms are as you would expect in an APA, only downside was that there is no individual control over room temperature, and the rooms get so hot without respite. We had to put our bag in the doorway to keep the cool air from the hallway coming through.

I was quite happy with this choice of hotel as a first time visitor. The only downside is the location. Everything is about a 40 minute train ride. The positives- clean. Room has just what you need. As a solo traveler I was pleasantly surprised the bed was spacious. The public bath/onsen in the hotel was just what the doctor ordered after the amount of walking each day. (You have to be able to cover your tattoo(s). Lawson convenient store is 24 hours and inside the hotel. Many food options in walking distance. Located right next to the Ryogoku train station

This hotel is a 2 minute walk to the station, the staff are lovely, the Lawson's is so handy for noodles to coffee, there are no stairs which means the lifts get very busy but just allow yourself some time. The rooms were spacious for Japan and the air con was fantastic. We had a super stay at this hotel

Good to frustrating

The hotel is looks nice and stylish. The main problem is the lifts, they can be a nightmare. Regularly having to wait 10-15 minutes, or longer at busy times. Unable to use the stairs at all even for 1 floor hops is just plain annoying. Enjoyed the onsen a lot, really beneficial and relaxing. The bathroom was tiny, I was regularly frustrated being 6ft and trying to manoeuvre in a confined and crowded cube! Staff are really helpful and friendly. Avoid checking in at 3 as there was a lengthy queue everyday.
