Check-in was a bit stressful through the kiosk, even though I was able to select "English". Lots of guests checking in at the same time, making assistance from a hotel employee a bit challenging. I appreciated the ability to pre-check our baggage prior to check-in so we could do some site-seeing. The hotel and rooms are beautiful! The breakfast bar provided just what we needed to kick off our day! We loved having access to a Lawsons to grab room drinks/snacks too.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. The onsen was amazing and the Laundry room was efficient for cleaning clothes. This is my 3rd year coming to Japan and this hotel has always been my go-to hotel since it's always clean, and is a 5 min walk from the station. Love this hotel, and Ryogoku city!

The rooms a very small compared to other hotels at the same price point. The area isnt convenient unless tou aee there for sumo wrestling. And most amenities cannot be used if you have tattoos including the spa and massages
