When we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly.
The room was as expected for the price, although the bathroom light was falling out of the ceiling and the exhaust fan was not working. The smoke detector was also falling out of the ceiling in the room.
Breakfast, where to begin. The cereal was stale, the pancakes were gloopy and inedible. The miniture muffins and "croisonts" were obviously bought from Woolies. The "croisonts" were actually cake based and not good at all.
The orange juice was rancid and I had to brush my teeth, tounge and cheeks three times to try and get rid of the metalic taste the persisted all day long and affected my stomach for the rest of the day, even after just one sip. We had to warn other people not to drink it after seeing them get a glass and after advising the person on duty. She finally tasted it and then, rather than emptying it out, put an out of order sign on it. The apple juice was no better.
It is surprising that hotels can call themselves "executive" when we would have been better off staying in a backpackers.
The parking spaces were extremely small, a mini would fit perfectly.
I will not recommend this place to anyone.
