The Crowne is old and tired looking. Ridiculous old fashioned cranking of the blinds - no curtains. The lift carpet was filthy - no matter whether early, middle of the day or evening. However rooms clean and comfortable.

I left a special dress hanging in the wardrobe of our room. I have contacted the hotel twice since checking out, but the dress has mysteriously disappeared! Each time I’ve followed up the staff have advised they will look into it for me & contact me. I have not been contacted at all & the dress is nowhere to be seen. Very disappointing! I won’t stay at Crown Plaza Canberra again (or sadly wear my special dress again.)
