The room was very spacious and clean. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the afternoon/evening which was very disappointing as we didn’t want to go out for dinner. The bed was not that comfortable either.

I can never understand why there is only one chair (armchair type) in the room which is for two people. There was a desk chair, but in most rooms, there is only the one armchair for two people. It doesn't make sense.

I have stayed at Abode Woden on numeroud occasions and will continue to do so in the future as one of my favs in Canberra. Big rooms, clean and tidy. Close to shops and cafes with the Hellenic Club across the road....doesnt get any better for a travelling worker.

No Parking except paid parking, and not indicated in any description of the hotel. It took three requests to get a second chair although the booking was for two adults. poor food options if arriving later than 6pm For what you pay, very disappointing..

Very well constructed modern apartment hotels and the pricing was also quite reasonable. Even simple things such as their holder for coffee and tea sachets and their instructions for streaming were very well done. Unfortunately, their appliances (stove, washer) were poorly maintained which was super annoying, and they don't have a parking within the facility (thankfully, there's a public parking located right opposite and the general parking fees in Canberra aren't as prohibitive). Takes about 10-15 mins to get to the city centre. I'd definitely recommend staying here, but don't depend on their appliances.

it rained heavily when I had to get my disabled wife to the public car park across the road to get into our car.no parking (or standing) at the kerbside in front of the hotel is a big drawback.
