The shower would go from scolding hot to freezing cold without notice. We could not shower the children for safety reasons. My husband and I both were scolded several times. Extremely unsafe. And for the hot water to even reach that temperature shows evidence of no regulator being fitted.

Great location and central to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. Great that there is public transport and taxis right out the front. Beds were not very comfortable for a Novotel and pillows were rock hard. A little outdated for a Novotel. The staff were lovely though and pool and spa facilities are great. The problem with the shower steam setting off the smoke alarms needs better attention as I thought it was me when it in fact was someone else setting off the smoke alarms and set my morning into a stressful frenzy.

If staying in the Canberra centre it is the ideal location to every thing. Easy walking and transport if taxis or tram they are directly out front

Booked for a family of five. Received two pillows. When I asked for more two were delivered was told “that’s the best i can do” Four towels for family of five, also not adequate. No towels available in the pool area. Parking not available, again, family of five travelling for a sporting carnival with a toddler needed access to car park to safely enter and exit hotel for the duration.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. I arrived Friday around 7:00pm and they refused to give me a car park, afer long argument they let me in. The hotel is super dirty. When check out they charged me $32 per night too.

Lovely hotel and great facilities however, the lack of parking in the hotel lets the whole experience down. 2 nights in a row we were unable to park in the building itself and had to find alternative parking, in the middle of winter with 2 children. We were back by 9pm after having dinner with family and it was completely full. Very inconvenient!! You should be able to book the parking at the same time you book the accomodation.
