Great for kids, beautiful location, plenty to do ..or perfect for lazing on the beach, pool or bar. Some activities can be expensive for families but you work out what you really want to do and find fun elsewhere with bush walks or free sports gear hire (tennis, squash, table tennis, volley ball etc). Dolphins, birdlife were spectacular.

There were a couple of staff who were amazing, then there were staff that were terrible!

Definitely geared towards practicality. Amenities were the type where it was expected that people would be trailing sand and salt beach water in with them so areas were either clean and plain. Furnishings were basic but did the job. Was told that there would be a microwave which there wasn't. People were friendly.

Like the dolphin feeding and Kookaburra and Pelican feeding. Kayaking and snorkeling were great too. Short walk from the ferry.

The properties may just need a slight touch up. The room carpets are slightly old, the paint and elevators, especially for a resort. I still do like the place, it’s very hospitable and pleasant.

Expensive. Not what we expected for a resort - dated, had to wait long periods for check in & out, limited food options.

The island is amazing. The hotel looks to have had no investment into it, probably since it opened in the 70’s. Very old buildings, interiors and decorations. The food at the resort is a disaster. Only 3 options to eat and all are super unhealthy, not fresh and crap. The staff were nice, although much more training required. Of course the highlight is very much the dolphins and the experience around them is nice and very worth it. If the owner of the hotel would invest in his asset, this could return Tangalooma back to its original Vision as it really is such a nice and relaxing Isalnd, so close to Brisbane. Please renovate the hote.
