Did not receive the txt for the lock box till after check in, possibly due to no phone service. I was not given room booked and had to wait to change rooms. Only 2 x coffee sachets in room rang and asked for more, told we would get them in an hour and did not receive any. Phone in room had no dial tone had to keep going outside to front door and ring for service. Only one extra blanket in room and two beds. Other than that was comfortable beds and clean.

I paid for a Queen size bed and 2 single beds and I got a Queen bed with a pullout sofa. My son, nephew and their friend were staying at the hotel and were accused of partying and having others partying with them in the room. I was called in the morning saying that they could not stay there for the 2nd night. My son is autistic and was just up there from Sydney to watch the football with my nephew. The receptionist argued with me over the phone and would not let me speak. She threatened to call the police. When I spoke to my nephew and son they had only had one drink each and were in bed by 2am and had only been watching TV in the room. My nephew had asked the receptionist why they are being kicked out and again she accused them of having others in the room. When she was asked to check her security Cameras she told them I would be refunded for the whole 2 nights accommodation and not to worry about paying for the 3 drinks taken from the mini bar. I am yet to receive my refund but will be speaking to Dept of fair trading if I don't see my account credited shortly. This hotel left my family stranded interstate during one of the busiest weekends. I believe she overbooked the room and thought lying would be ok. Why else would she offer a full refund. Thank God the Buget Ibis hotel was able to give them a place to sleep. I never leave a bad review for any place knowing how difficult it has been for businesses especially during covid but my family did nothing wrong

Used to be a good place to stay, has new owners and/ or management. Asked for an upstairs room was given the room next to noisy stairwell, rooms are no longer refreshed each day, drain in shower partially blocked, bitten by bedbugs. Lots of choices for other motels in the area, I wont be back.
