Have stayed here many times over decades now. Can honestly say the hotel is in the best condition ever since Laundy Hotels have taken over. Location is perfect. Hotel is in great shape. Can highly recommend.

The car park was full upon arrival and when enquiring about why this was the case, we were told there are more rooms to car spaces so then we were advised to park down the road, which i think is annoying for a paying guest, and at $500 a night I might add. Reception person upon arrival us asked our details, collected our money and just handed us the key, no welcome, no here is what we have going on at our hotel, basically no information was provided to ensure we have a plesant stay..be prepared for a basic, no frills experience..a room with a view and not much else..

Extremely disappointing. This property markets itself as a 4 star hotel and yet the basic service of having bath towels in the room isn’t provided, and no apology offered when I had to phone down to request them. The property also promotes paid parking onsite. When I called to reserve a space I was informed reservations aren’t possible. Upon arrival early morning of check in, I was told that all onsite parking was reserved for an event and yet they’d specifically stated reservations weren’t possible. This forced us to use the council car parking that cost 1.5 x the novatel rate. We also tried ordering room service late in the evening and were told it was easier for us to leave the hotel and walk to a mall to see if there was anything open. After declining that inhospitable offer and requesting room service that’s clearly stated as a service within the hotel, we were advised we could only order 1 thing from the menu. The staff were completely unapologetic and lacked any modicum of service. The rooms are tired and the shower had black mould. Not worth over $350 a night.

Excellent location, staff were lovely and hotel clean. Comfortable bed, however hotel could do with a little makeover and parking very expensive, we stayed for 1 night during the weekend, so not sure if parking is cheaper Monday to Thursday, in saying that I would definitely recommend and stay there again.
