Stunning views from our villa and restaurant/main building.
Spacious rooms with gigantic luxurious bathroom. Bathroom was relatively clean but shower screen had some soap scum on it. Otherwise fine.
Restaurant had limited options but the food we ordered was delicious. Buffet breakfast was okay, limited options there too. We went to breakfast late so would've been good if we could have our eggs to order, instead of scrambled eggs and hash browns that had probably sat there most of the morning

Nice big room with lovely view. Huge bathroom but the cleaning here needed more attention. Unfortunately we didn't get much sleep in the lovely comfy bed as we had noisy neighbours in the adjoining villa. We decided not to stay for a second night :(

Couldn't get into our room until after 4pm. Service was unhelpful and dudnt follow through with a curtousy call to say the room was finally ready after 4pm. Room was dirty and hair on bathroom floor, bath, an shower. Wow for what we paid ... you would have been better at a back packers.

The property was no where near where it was 5 years ago when we stayed there for our wedding night. It was disappointing to have expectations not met this time we stayed. What hotel doesn’t have sky these days??? Ive suggested they declare that on their website as many Kiwis would expect to check in and watch the game on TV. Also there was no way to block out the light from the wood Venetians in the room so we had a terrible nights sleep in room 3 with the light pouring in. It was ok but not worth the $350, only reason I’m writing this review is I gave feedback at checkout and they couldn’t have cared less ;( so likelihood is someone will experience the same thing.

We do offer Sky TV channels in the main pavilion, however we also offer a casting service in the Villas, so that you can cast from your personal device to the TV, be it Netflix, SkyGo, or any other platform that you might subscribe to. I am disappointed that you believe our reception team didn't care when you highlighted your concerns, I can assure you that this simply isn't the case, we take all guest feedback on-board and learn from it.

This resort is beautiful, reminds me of being in Fiji. Great big Villas lots of space and beautiful views of the water and golf course. Breakfast was great we didn’t have any other meals as we were out at a wedding. Ridges has taken over this establishment and has owned it for 8weeks. There is a small fridge no cutlery so you will either need to bring that done at the restaurant or there is a big countdown and lil township 5 mins drive away. The beds are super comfy!!! We highly recommended staying here.

The rooms are big and the staff were friendly. The room is a little outdated with no minibar/food, so you are limited to the restaurant. The bathroom was a little old and the bath wasn't as clean as id like. When we came to the room, outside were all the sheets and rubbish of the previous guest, so it was a bad first impression. However, staff were great and changed our room, so it wasn’t an issue
