Got "upgraded" upon checkin. Only difference between the two room was the complimentary water. Same size, same facilities etc. Had booked the orginal room for the bath which we didnt have in the new room. Pretty gutted. Room was noisy. Some air con or fan or something that we couldnt turn off. Sounded like pipes banging at 1am. Could hear the people next to us everytime they opened the door and curtains. Pretty poor sleep due to all this. Checked out early to go home. Room was tidy, there was what looked like sticky drink or something on the wall, broken bits of soap under the chair. Not overally impressed with the noise and the upgrade essentially being a downgrade. Glad it was only the one night we stayed.

Had a great stay, if you wanted to you never have to venture outside as restaurants are great in the hotel and has a covered walkway to to the casino as well. Room had a great view and level 7 had a great gym, lap pool, spa and sauna. Only con were the elevators, felt like it was playing roulette and would pass by your level even when going up or down was weird a few people said this. Staff were fantastic and so helpful

I like everything about the Grand, everything you need to do, is right there. Rooms are fantastic, loved the bath, service is great and the breakfast is to die for, so much choice. So if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the CBD, the GRAND IS THE PLACE TO GO. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic stay
Amazing room, spacious and provides for all necessary needs. It is at a good central location. The hotel gave us a free upgrade to our room and free parking for our stay. Staff are very welcoming. The hotel also has bellboy service and valet service. Amazing stay.

I always enjoy staying at The Grand. Rooms are always clean and quiet. They have everything you need and the room service options are excellent. Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Staff are very friendly and efficient.
